Artist’s Statement

My art can be seen as a representation of my rapidly changing interests and thoughts. As a student and young adult, I have many different voices lending advice on how to create and perceive art, and I’m working to develop exactly where I fit into those voices. My interest lies in collaboration and connection. I aim to meet, collaborate, and learn from as many people as I can, and my goal is to connect with nature and my community while developing a style true to myself. This body of work is my ongoing attempt at achieving those goals.
